Accomplishments while serving Northlake on Town Council as Mayor Pro Tem.
- Chaired the Town Charter Committee, creating the Town Charter which our residents passed by 84%!
- Implemented live video broadcast and archival of Town Council Meetings
- Increased Homestead Exemption for residents, lowering taxes paid to the town.
- Renegotiated the redesign of the 407 corridor through Northlake
- Working on accelerating roadway projects to reduce congestion in Northlake
- Working to protect Canyon Falls from the Oncor power transmission project
- Negotiated the change of the Industrial park affecting the NW side of Canyon Falls to more residential.
- Bringing a flagship Multisport Dallas StarCenter to Northlake, including Ice, Basketball, Volleyball and Pickleball projected opening Fall 2025.
- This project is self-supporting (no property tax is being used to pay for this) through the new revenues it will produce and the Dallas Stars & NHL signing a 30 year lease.
- Brought Fiber Internet (OpenInfra) to rural NW Northlake areas where no options above 100mbps existed previously (Stardust, Prairie View Farms, Creek Meadows, Faught Rd, Bingham Rd, Old Justin & Schober Rd)
- Partnering with several communities including Pecan Square, Stardust Ranch and The Ridge to try and fix speeding concerns through ongoing efforts.
- Represented the council in various project negotiations, including keeping future undesirable uses away from Florence Road by North Ridge Estates.
